It all started when our family got a Mac Plus in the early 1990s. I was 7 years old. Once I realized what that machine could do, I never went back. By the time I was in high school, I had discovered my love of storytelling and determined that I wanted to use tech to tell stories. After a time in college and graduate school pursuing film editing and screenwriting, I found a fondness for research and writing. This led to a doctorate in communication in 2016 and a decade of teaching communication studies. A dissertation on video games and multiple publications and research on new types of technology have kept me on the cutting edge of telecommunication and computing development.

One foot in the tech industry and the other in academia has left me with the skill set for writing whitepapers and customer-facing content.
